After graduating from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, Ms. Darlin taught special education and AVID in the Los Angeles Unified School District at Manual Arts High School. During her time at Manual Arts, Ms. Darlin served as Chair of the Special Education Department. While teaching, Ms. Darlin earned her Master's Degree in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University. After teaching for two years, she attended the University of San Diego - School of Law. In her time as a law student, Ms. Darlin interned at the ACLU, the Alliance for Children's Rights, the juvenile division of the Public Defender's Office, and more. As a former teacher, Ms. Darlin fervently believes that all children should have access to an excellent education.
